Reggello has always been a land of excellence for the production of oil, a product rich in polyphenols and peroxides that characterize it as a natural antioxidant.
Reggello is part of the National Association "Città dell’Olio" which brings together the protagonists of Italian production.
And it is precisely in the territory of Reggello in the Podere i Sorbi that a great extra virgin olive oil has always been produced using only olives from the farm maintained by the company's staff: moraiole, frantoiane and leccine olives that grow on two thousand plants in eight hectares of land. . Olives picked and pressed in the same day in a trusted oil mill, strictly local. The olives are then pressed at low temperatures, thus preserving all the organoleptic characteristics unaltered.
The uniqueness of this oil, in addition to the very low acidity which is an essential feature, is given by the aroma and unmistakable taste enhanced by a slight "pinch" note.
Over time, the oil from Podere i Sorbi has obtained numerous awards from institutional and qualified panel tests.
In the farm, in the heart of the Chianti area, the vineyard could not be missing, two hectares where Sangiovese grapes are grown for the production of Chianti DOCG wine.
