The estate of “I Sorbi” has been owned by the Gerini family since 1976 when it was bought by Fernando and Maura with the desire to make it their summer home. The family still lives today in the main villa. The origins of this refined and welcoming place go back to the Middle Ages when the first small peasant settlement was born which is still part of the village of “I Sorbi” today. The estate, as it appears today, is the result of a long and faithful restoration. In 1991 one of the first registrations in the register of farmhouses in Tuscany was issued to the structure. In the eighteen hectares of land, the most typical Tuscan plants are grown, vines and olives: the landscape thus reserves the unmistakable charm of our hills for the guests of the structure. Managed directly by the Gerini family, who take care of every detail in an unmistakable way, Podere “I Sorbi” is now one of the agritourism facilities in the Florentine countryside that has made hospitality and conviviality its style.
